The short version
omnislice.com uses a few cookies and browser storage entries that it cannot work without, and one analytics tool, PostHog, that only runs if you agree. We use no advertising cookies, no social media trackers, and nothing that follows you to other websites.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage is a similar store that stays in the browser and is not sent with each request. The law treats both the same way: anything that is not strictly necessary to give you what you asked for needs your consent first. This policy covers both and calls them "cookies" for short.
Strictly necessary
These make the site work: signing in, remembering your cookie choice, and your display preference. They do not need consent because the site cannot do what you ask without them, and none is used to track you.

The sign-in cookies are shared with the Omnislice dashboard at app.omnislice.com, because both use the same sign-in. If you are not signed in, they only record that fact.
Analytics, only with your consent
If you accept, we use PostHog to understand how the site is used: which pages people read, where they came from, and where they get stuck. PostHog stores this data in the EU. Session replays mask everything typed into forms.

Until you choose, PostHog is not loaded at all: it sets nothing and sends nothing. If you decline, it stays off. If you accept and later withdraw, we stop it immediately and delete what it stored in your browser.
How to change your choice

- In your browser: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you from signing in, and the site will ask about analytics again each visit because it cannot remember your answer.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, such as Google Maps from the contact page or Stripe's privacy policy. Nothing from those sites is loaded until you click, and once you do, their own cookie policies apply.
